Unfair Treatment
Some challenges faced by this community are -
- Coming Out: These people face problems telling their friends and families about what they feel
- Internalized Homophobia: They feel more comfortable being by themselves than talking with others and expressing their feelings.
- Familial Rejection: Some families reject their children if they are born with an unusuality or disorder. This hurts them mentally forever.
- Stereotypes: They do not feel comfortable when they are mentioned with "he" or "she", they mostly prefer being called by their name and sadly, they are criticized for calling them "it".
- Discrimination & Violence: They are often bullied in school because of their behavior and actions, sometimes they are even given S-class treatment in hospitals and other public places.
- Mental Health Issues: They often are let down mentally and so face mental health issues, and again they don't receive fair treatment.
- Love & Dating: It is hard to find people who think like you and then convince her into a relationship with marriage.
- Starting a Family & Parenting: It is then hard to convince the partner into starting a family and decide who is going to take care of the child. Also, sometimes the child may be teased for having two mommies or two daddies.
Although these problems have reduced over the years, it is onto us to cancel them altogether and then finally let them lead an absolutely free life without any inhibitions like any other person would have
